Water Tank Reservoir Cover — Version 2

Every water reservoir access opening needs a cover — a lid that prevents contamination of the stored water, stops unauthorised entry, and provides a safe walking surface over the opening when the hatch is closed. The Water Tank Reservoir Cover Version 2 is PRD's standard cover for reservoir pit frame installations: a flat 2 mm stainless steel plate that seats into a 1.5 mm stainless frame embedded in the concrete surround of the opening.

Version 2 uses a 1.5 mm frame profile — lighter than the 3 mm frame used on the standard piston and plain cover ranges — specifically designed for reservoir pit frame applications where the frame is cast into the concrete opening perimeter during construction, rather than surface-mounted after the fact. The 1 mm peripheral gap between cover plate and frame allows for thermal expansion and ensures the cover lifts cleanly without binding. No piston mechanism — this is a plain, gravity-seated cover, manually lifted for access. Custom to opening dimensions. AISI 304 or 316.
