Access Ladder — Single, No Cage

Every underground water reservoir — drinking water storage, fire suppression tank, mikveh — requires safe, reliable internal access for cleaning, inspection, and equipment maintenance. PRD Ladder 1 is the standard solution for reservoirs up to 2 metres deep: a single stainless steel access ladder, wall-mounted, built to the exact dimensions of your reservoir opening and depth.

The ladder frame uses 50 × 25 mm stainless steel profiles; rungs are 25 × 25 mm. The first rung starts 20 cm above the reservoir floor, avoiding the lowest water level and keeping the ladder comfortable to use from the bottom. Stainless steel wall mounting brackets are included; the number of brackets is determined by the ladder height. No safety cage is required for ladders at this height — below 2 metres, the descent meets Israeli safety standards without a cage.

There are no catalogue sizes: every Ladder 1 is fabricated to the specific depth and opening width of the reservoir it is installed in. Reservoirs are never identical, and a ladder that fits perfectly performs reliably for decades without adjustment or modification. AISI 304 is standard; AISI 316 is specified for reservoirs with aggressive water chemistry or high mineral content.
