Access Ladder — Single, With Safety Cage

Israeli safety standards mandate a safety cage on any access ladder exceeding 2 metres in height. Ladder 2 meets this requirement by default: a single wall-mounted stainless steel ladder with a full surround cage from the first rung to the top of the ladder, covering the complete descent into the reservoir. The cage prevents lateral fall if a person loses grip or balance mid-descent — mandatory for any reservoir deeper than 2 m and standard practice in residential and commercial building construction.

Frame and rung profiles match Ladder 1 — 50 × 25 mm frame, 25 × 25 mm rungs, 20 cm floor clearance — with the cage built as an integral structural element rather than an afterthought accessory. This is the most commonly specified ladder for residential and commercial water reservoirs in Israel, where most underground tanks fall in the 2–4 metre depth range.
