Plain Cover — Simple Frame

The plain cover with simple frame is the most basic reservoir access cover in the PRD range: a flat 2 mm stainless steel plate resting on a flat perimeter frame, with no edge bend and no piston locking mechanism. The flat profile means the cover plate surface sits level with the frame top — no step up, no step down, no edge treatment. The cover is held in place by weight alone and manually lifted for access.

This configuration is appropriate for low-load, interior, controlled-access applications where cost and fast access take priority over security or refined finish — temporary reservoir covers during construction, utility maintenance hatches in equipment rooms, or short-term service openings where the access frequency is high and lift-off simplicity matters more than a locking mechanism. It is the lightest and most economical cover option in the PRD range. Custom to opening dimensions, AISI 304 or 316.
