Plain Cover — Inward Bend

The plain cover with inward bend is a non-locking stainless steel access cover — held in place by its own weight rather than a piston or fastener. The cover plate's perimeter edges fold inward, so the cover seats down onto the top of the frame rather than dropping inside it. The cover plate surface sits slightly above the surrounding frame, and the inward-bent edges prevent lateral sliding off the frame.

This cover is appropriate for maintenance access hatches, utility pit covers, and reservoir openings in controlled environments where water pressure from below is not significant and the risk of unauthorised access is low. The absence of a locking mechanism means faster access for authorised personnel — lift and set aside, no mechanism to operate. 2 mm cover plate, 3 mm frame, 1 mm peripheral gap. Custom to opening dimensions, AISI 304 or 316.
