Product Description
The piston cover adds a compression-locking mechanism to the reservoir access cover, allowing the lid to be secured from inside the reservoir without bolts or external fasteners. The piston — a spring-loaded compression fitting — pushes against the inside of the frame as the cover is closed and seated, creating a firm hold that prevents the cover from being lifted by water pressure from below or by unauthorised persons from above.
The no-tile variant has a plain stainless steel top surface — suitable where a visible stainless finish is acceptable and the additional weight of a tile inlay is unnecessary. This is the direct specification for reservoir hatches in utility areas, machine rooms, and industrial facilities where function takes priority over floor aesthetics. The piston mechanism is particularly valuable in mikveh installations, where pool water pressure can create significant uplift on access covers. 2 mm cover plate, 3 mm frame, 1 mm peripheral gap. Custom opening dimensions, AISI 304 or 316.
