Product Description
The piston cover with inward bend combines a compression-locking mechanism with a specific edge profile: the perimeter of the cover plate is folded inward, so the cover seats down onto the top of the frame rather than inside it. The result is that the cover plate surface sits slightly above the surrounding frame — the standard configuration when the frame is surface-mounted and the cover needs to rest cleanly on top without dropping into a recess.
The inward-bent edges prevent the cover from catching on the frame sides during opening and closing, creating a predictable seating action and clean lift-off. Combined with the piston lock — which secures the cover from inside the reservoir — this is a robust choice for any reservoir cover requiring secure closure and reliable repeated access. Common applications include mikveh access hatches, commercial building water reservoirs, and any installation where both water-tightness and ease of authorised access are required. Custom opening dimensions, AISI 304 or 316.
