Tile Channel — Standard

The Tile Channel replaces the conventional stainless steel grating with a recessed tray that accepts a cut piece of the same floor tile used in the surrounding area. When laid and grouted, the drainage line completely disappears into the floor — the surface appears continuous, unbroken by any metal grille or visible drain element. Only the narrow stainless steel frame at the channel edges indicates that drainage is present below, and even that reads as a clean architectural detail rather than a utility fitting.

This is the drainage product of choice for architects and interior designers who will not compromise on floor aesthetics. Hotel spa bathrooms, luxury private residences, high-end showrooms, and pool terraces with premium stone or large-format tile floors benefit from this invisible-drain format. Maintenance is straightforward: the tile insert lifts out of the recess for cleaning access to the channel body and strainer basket below.

The standard tile channel has a centre outlet position — the drain pipe runs directly below the midpoint of the channel. The tile recess depth is specified at order to match the exact thickness of the floor tile, which is critical for a flush, level finish between the tile insert and the surrounding floor.
