Standard 6" Drainage Channel

The Standard 6" Drainage Channel is the most widely specified stainless steel drainage channel in Israeli commercial and industrial construction — the product specifiers and contractors reach for first. At 200 mm wide with a built-in 0.9° slope toward a DN150 (6") bottom outlet, it removes standing water completely without relying on additional fall in the floor build-up. The grating and strainer basket are removable without tools, giving maintenance teams full access to the channel body for cleaning and basket replacement in seconds.

Manufactured at PRD's Mishor Adumim facility on TRUMPF CNC machinery from 1.5 mm AISI 304 stainless steel sheet (AISI 316 on request), this channel is produced in-house — not imported. There are no catalogue lengths to order from: you supply the total dimension your project requires and that is what we produce. This matters in practice, because renovation and new-build projects rarely conform to standard stock lengths.

AISI 304 stainless steel is food-grade, corrosion-resistant, non-porous, and does not harbour bacteria — making it the correct material for food processing plants, commercial kitchens, and mikveh facilities alike. It outperforms plastic channels that crack and harbour biofilm, and galvanised channels that corrode and require replacement within years. A PRD drainage channel, correctly installed, will outlast the building it serves.
