T-Channel Type 5

T-Channel Type 5 is the most complex configuration in the PRD T-channel range — a T-shaped drainage junction with the most demanding geometry or greatest body dimensions in the series. Like all T-channels, the cross-section embeds the body into the floor slab for structural rigidity, with the flanges at floor level and the stem below. This embedded format is what distinguishes T-channels from surface-mounted drainage: the channel becomes part of the floor structure, not just an element on top of it.

Type 5 is specified for the most demanding floor drainage requirements — high load tolerance, complex junction geometry, or specific floor plan configurations that no simpler type can satisfy. A drawing with all arm dimensions must be submitted with the order; fabrication to exact dimensions ensures the channel integrates correctly into the floor structure without on-site modification.
