T-Channel Type 1

T-shaped drainage channels take their name from the cross-sectional profile: a T-body with flanges at the top resting at floor level while the channel stem embeds into the floor slab below. This structural integration gives T-channels significantly greater rigidity than surface-mounted channels — the concrete or screed locks the body in place on three sides, preventing any flex or rocking under heavy foot traffic or moderate equipment loads. The T-channel is the specified solution when the floor drainage plan calls for a junction where two flow paths converge before reaching the outlet.

T-Channel Type 1 is the standard single-branch T configuration: a main run channel with one perpendicular branch meeting at a clean junction. All arm lengths are custom to order — main arm and branch arm dimensions are specified at fabrication so the channel fits your exact floor plan without cutting or improvisation on site. The DN150 (6") outlet and 0.9° built-in slope are consistent across the full T-channel range. AISI 304 or 316, 1.5 mm walls, 2 mm removable grating.
