Bottle Channel — Freestanding

The Bottle Channel takes its name from the shape of its cross-section: wide at the base, narrowing toward the grating opening at floor level. Where a standard rectangular channel of the same surface width has a limited internal volume, the bottle profile expands significantly below floor level — creating a much larger holding capacity for incoming water. This expanded body handles sudden high-flow drainage without backing up or overflowing at the grating: heavy rain in an open courtyard, industrial wash-down of a full production floor, or high-volume cleaning cycles where large quantities of water must drain quickly.

The freestanding configuration is installed in the floor with no wall contact — water enters from both sides of the grating and drains downward through the DN150 (6") outlet at the base. This makes it suitable for centre-of-floor drainage in large open spaces, outdoor courtyards, high-throughput industrial areas, and mikveh facilities where drainage demand is heavy but intermittent.
